HOW TO MEASURE
To measure your feet stand on a level floor with the back of your heels against a straight edge or wall
- 1. FOOT LENGTH
- Measure your foot length by placing a ruler flat on the floor straight alongside the inside of your foot from your heal to your toes.
Place an object with a flat edge straight across your toes with the edge touching the tip of your longest toe. Take the measurement (in millimeters) from the ruler where the flat edge crosses (see image below). This is your foot length measurement.
- 2. SELECTING A SHOE SIZE
- If your foot measurement is halfway between sizes, select the larger size.
You may find one foot is longer than the other, this is quite normal, please use the larger size when making your shoe size selection.

I have found Bosa online while browsing for classical leather sandals. After finding the website I knew it was exactly what I was looking for, great quality of hand made product and artistic designs relating to esthetics of ancient Europe. Recently it happened that I was passing by Istanbul, so I have contacted BOSA asking if I could visit the manufacturing facility. It was an unforgettable trip, as I walked along historic sites of the city towards the port on European side of Bosphorus strait and later took a ferry to the Asian side. At the workshop I have met the craftsman, shared a cup of tea and learned about production technology. It was just as one would imagine, a small workshop of a few rooms, in which a hand of craftsman have been busy cutting and stitching leather, attaching rivets with handy hummers, doing hand-craft which tradition lasts for dozen centuries. I was very fortunate to get a in-house measurement of my foot, as it is slightly wider than standard shapes. I have ordered for two pairs, and am sure I will come back to Bosa in future.
